Module provenance describes where a module came from and how it evolved.
Why It Matters
Section titled “Why It Matters”If modules are the expression of Cost DNA, then teams need to understand whether a module is:
- original
- cloned from another module
- merged from multiple sources
Business Value
Section titled “Business Value”Provenance helps preserve:
- trust
- traceability
- learning over time
- accountability for module evolution
